Dentsu, Hakuhodo raided as part of Tokyo 2020 corruption scandal

The ever-widening graft case of last year's Tokyo Olympics has Dentsu, ADK and Hakuhodo's offices being searched on grounds of rigging bids for test events.

Dentsu handled the recruitment of corporate sponsors for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics and there was a process in place that allowed the company to outsource part of the work to other ad agencies
