Entries are now open for Campaign’s fifth annual Agency of the Year Global Awards, a chance for agencies big and small to showcase imagination and creativity, as well as commercial competence.
Attracting entries from across four continents, these awards provide a global arena, where agencies compete directly with each other, regardless of size. Recognising talent, creativity and effectiveness, these awards also consider a range of additional measures, such as new business performance, thought-leadership, innovation, culture and values.
It's a chance for visibility across the international arena, as all those shortlisted are named in Campaign's various global regions, with more than 1.2 million unique monthly users for Campaign Asia, UK, US, Turkey, Middle East and Canada.
Gideon Spanier, UK editor-in-chief of Campaign, said: “These awards, which have rapidly grown their impact over the past few years, offer agencies large and small the opportunity to compete on the world stage. It takes creativity, talent, and a relentless appetite for innovation for an agency to invent and to keep reinventing for its clients, and it was inspiring to see these qualities in abundance among this year’s winners. These awards recognise the best of the best globally and are judged by marketers from around the world.”
Campaign’s Agency of the Year Global Awards are judged by a select panel of global and regional chief marketers; those in a position to hire shops and authorise budgets, with the process audited by MediaSense to ensure the highest standards of integrity and excellence.
Nominations to get involved in judging the awards are welcome from across sectors and continents. The final judging panel will be comprised of an inclusive range of brand-side individuals to fully represent the industry. Nominate a judge here.
There are more than 30 categories for agencies of every type and size, including some new categories for 2025. The early bird deadline is 21 January, with the standard deadline four weeks later on 18 February.
The shortlist will be announced in April 2024, before winners in June.
Entries from 40 countries
Campaign's Agency of the Year Global Awards celebrate the world’s best agencies, drawing entries from 40 countries. Earlier this year, VCCP achieved three gold awards, Integrated Agency of the Year, Independent Agency of the Year and Global Agency Growth Leader, for Stephanie Brimacombe, CEO Europe and global chief growth officer at VCCP.
Judges' comments included praise for Brimacombe: “Stephanie is a true leader who shapes the industry with programmes designed to diversify the workforce, as well as dedicating agency resources to charitable organisations.”
MG OMD (UK) also took home a trio of gongs, including Media Agency of the Year and Agency Leader (Media) for CEO Natalie Bell, while OMD EMEA won Best Network (Europe) and OMD Worldwide scooped the coveted Global Media Network of the Year.
One other agency took home three awards: New Zealand’s Special, which won Creative Agency of the Year for the second consecutive year. Meanwhile, Rethink, from Canada and the US, was triumphant as Independent Agency of the Year (Creative), while Australian shop Atomic 212° took the media equivalent. Ogilvy won Global Creative Network for the second year in a row, beating DDB Worldwide, FCB and McCann Worldgroup to the title.
