Havas has promoted Tamara Greene, managing director of global brands, to chief client officer of global brands at Havas Creative Network.

The promotion is effective immediately.

In her new role, Greene will take on the executive leadership of “almost all multi-market and global client relationships” within Havas Creative Network.

She will also be responsible for building the group’s global client relationship approach and practice. She will be working with local leadership and new business teams to identify, secure and integrate global and multi-market client opportunities for the group.

Donna Murphy, global chief executive of Havas Creative and Havas Health Networks, said: "Tamara’s leadership, expertise, and deep commitment to our clients make her the ideal choice to propel our global brand partnerships forward. Her vision will be invaluable as we accelerate our momentum and continue making a meaningful impact worldwide."

Greene has spent over 16 years at Havas, which she first joined in 2009 as group account director. She later became group brand director then managing partner for global brands, and was appointed managing director for global brands in January 2023.

In her previous role, she led on recent pitch wins including Nomad Foods’s pan-European creative and strategic account in October, as well as on Asahi Super Dry, which appointed Havas as its global creative agency in December last year.

Prior to Havas, Greene spent a year at Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners as group account director working on Avon Global Fragrances, was group account director at Berlin Cameron for over four years, and worked as account supervisor at Lowe.

The appointment follows a series of leadership changes at Havas, including the appointment of Holly Ripper as chief executive of Havas London in February.

Havas London also hired Catherine Peacock, former global chief marketing officer at Uncommon Creative Studio, as chief client officer in January this year.
