FrieslandCampina hands SEA branding to Leo Burnett

ASIA-PACIFIC - Dairy brand FrieslandCampina has awarded Leo Burnett with its branding business across the Southeast Asia region.

Anja De Landsheer will lead the account as regional planning director across Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand for FrieslandCampina's full brand portfolio.

De Landsheer will work closely with Saurabh Varma, chief strategy officer of Leo Burnett and Arc Singapore, on the FrieslandCampina account.

FrieslandCampina’s brands include Friesche Vlag, Chocomel, Fristi, Milner, Campina, Landliebe, Mona and Dutch Lady.

The latter brand holds the title as the largest dairy operator in Malaysia, claiming 20 per cent share of the overall dairy market and 55 per cent share of the UHT and sterilised milk markets since the beginning of 2009.

Dutch lady has worked with Leo Burnett and Universal McCann in the Malaysian market.
