Meet the Pos, POSB's dramatic family

Singapore's oldest bank debuts a modern family, which will live on beyond Chinese New Year.

POSB, Singapore's oldest bank and a subsidiary of DBS, has introduced the Po family, a modern Singaporean clan that will continue to appear in its advertising throughout the year. The campaign is from The Secret Little Agency.

Ad Nut was initially underwhelmed about the concept. A family in your advertising, you say? Not exactly a game-changer. But the initial online videos and TVC presented above make it clear this isn't going to be an overly sweet, banal approach. Instead we get a Simpsons-esque kind of irreverence about family tensions, and action that slips that from reality into allegory in fun ways. It seems like a positive step for the brand, and Ad Nut will look forward to seeing more of the family's antics.
