Photos: Louis Vuitton exhibition overlooks Petronas Twin Towers

The fashion house marked its 34th year in Malaysia with a unique capsule exhibition.

To celebrate its 34th anniversary in Malaysia, Louis Vuitton launched a ‘Time Capsule’ exhibition in prime real estate overlooking Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas Twin Towers.

The show is a display of the brand’s iconic monogrammed trunks and aims to showcase the brand's timeline of tech and design. It demonstrates a visual timeline in the brand’s story via zones such as ‘Artisans’ room’, a live experience with Louis Vuitton craftsmen and ‘The key to the codes’, which shows off designs that can be traced back to the brand’s first trunks. Visitors will also see selected items from the brand's archive.

So far, the exhibit has brought in the who’s who of Malaysia’s fashion industry and elite influencer circles. The free public exhibition has travelled to other cities including Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Shanghai, and Melbourne. It will remain in Kuala Lumpur until July 28.
