Aleph, a global network specialising in media and payments innovation, has announced an expanded partnership with audio streaming giant Spotify to serve as Spotify’s advertising sales partner in over 80 markets, including Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam. The collaboration builds on a longstanding relationship between the two companies, which began in 2013. As part of the expanded deal, Aleph will leverage its services to support the monetisation of Spotify’s advertising inventory and facilitate access to a network of more than 20,000 advertisers.
The aim is to strengthen Spotify’s advertising reach in key global markets and enable advertisers to connect with Spotify’s extensive user base through targeted ad solutions.

Cartology, Woolworths' retail media arm, has appointed Robbie Lawson and Sam Way to newly created general manager roles under its new sales operating model. The model consolidates sales and support functions across four key verticals: everyday needs, food, agency, and New Zealand. Lawson will oversee the everyday needs portfolio, while Way will focus on the food category. Both will report to Tony Prentice, director of client partnerships and sales. Lawson brings nearly seven years of experience from Google and prior roles at Unilever, L’Oréal, and Mars Food. Way has 20 years of leadership positions at Nestlé and Coca-Cola, most recently serving as vice president of digital acceleration at Coca-Cola. These appointments align with Cartology’s efforts to enhance its client offerings and strengthen its presence in key retail sectors.

US chicken chain of restaurants Wingstop has appointed Hello as its full-service AOR for the Australian market, following a competitive pitch process. The agency will oversee the brand's launch across brand, creative, media and digital channels. The global fast-casual dining powerhouse has over 2,500 stores worldwide.

B2B marketing and communications agency Mahlab has named Ben Williams as senior account director of Marketing Communications. Williams will lead global accounts in the industrial technology sector in his new role as part of Mahlab’s senior leadership team. Williams brings over 20 years of experience managing B2C, B2B, and B2E projects for high-profile organisations, including NAB, Asahi Beverages, Coles, RBS, Nike, and LVMH. His appointment reflects Mahlab’s focus on delivering strategic communications for complex global industries.
