Reporting to Khun Punnee Chaiyakul, chairman, Ogilvy & Mather Thailand, Tan’s key objective is to transform OgilvyOne from an offline CRM base discipline into an online customer centric digital business unit with a stronger digital creative presence.

Prior to her promotion, Tan was shopper and retail strategic planning director at OgilvyAction Thailand, a role she held for two years.

Chaiyakul said that, having helped build OgilvyAction Thailand from the ground up, Tan has a proven track record for driving growth.

Ogilvy veteran, Supavadee Tantiyanon moves into a regional consultancy role after four years at the helm of OgilvyOne Thailand. She has 15 years industry experience, having worked across various disciplines and functions, including five years with Unilever in marketing and research. Tantiyanon will report to Lucy MaCabe, vice-president consulting services, OgilvyOne Asia-Pacific.

In Thailand marketers spent only two per cent of their advertising budget online, which is the lowest in the region, but sources say that online ads could rise to 15 per cent in 2011.
