The deadline for submissions is 26 February and the winning agency will be appointed following the 10 March evaluation.

Through the one-year contract, IDA aims to create awareness in China about Singapore’s infocomm capabilities and encourage Chinese industry players to partner with Singapore industry players in order to enter global markets.

The tender states the IDA also requires development of a communications plan, media relations, a media familiarisation tour involving up to 10 Chinese journalists, promotion of Singapore’s infocomm industry and the production of a quarterly Chinese e-newsletter targeting government agencies, infocomm professionals and industry players.

Agencies are also free to include optional items in their bid. One such item is a stakeholder perception audit to gauge how well Singapore infocomm solutions and companies are perceived, compared with other Asian countries.

IDA is a statutory board operating under the Ministry of Information, Communications and The Arts.
