In this newly created role, in addition to working closely with Golin Harris teams across Asia-Pacific, Walker also takes on the role of Hong Kong business development director for Octagon.

Walker reports to John Morgan, regional managing director of Greater China at Golin Harris based in Hong Kong, and also works closely with Winston Zheng, managing director and head of Octagon Greater China.

Walker has over 15 years' experience in media and communications, loyalty marketing, event management and sponsorship activation in Asia. Over the past 10 years, he was director for a boutique sports marketing consultancy Leisure Resources based in Hong Kong, serving clients like American Express, Sun Life Insurance and ANZ.

“Jeremy is well-known and hugely respected in the sports marketing and branded event markets,” said Morgan. “As we continue to increase our presence in this market with creative multidisciplinary programs, Jeremy is the perfect person to lead this charge for both Golin Harris and Octagon in Hong Kong.”

Golin Harris and Octagon’s global partnership began last year when the two agencies agreed to offer a joint public relations and sports marketing service for clients.
