Wright has taken an equity stake in the business and will share all management responsibilities for the consultancy, as well as direct key accounts. She will work alongside fellow partners Penny Burgess and Nicky Wang.

Wright has 13 years' experience in the communications industry, including a stint as a TV journalist for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in her formative years.

She joins Red Bridge following her return to China after three years in her native Australia where she worked for the Formula One Australian Grand Prix and the National Gallery of Australia.

In China, Wright was based in Shanghai for four years as director of communications for Asia-Pacific at global automotive supplier Visteon. Previous in-house roles include experience across an array of brands including Qantas, Red Bull Racing, McLaren, Diageo, Vodafone, Mercedes Benz, L’Oreal Men Expert and LG.

“To ensure consistently high standards of thinking and campaign management we have always purposefully structured our business to give clients greater access to lead senior consultants and specialist advisors," commented Penny Burgess, managing partner of Red Bridge Communications. "Having a third partner of Wright’s calibre join the business allows us to continue our growth while building on this commitment.”

Reported in March, the agency won Chery Quantum and The Carat Club's PR duties in China.
