Publicis Media global chief: “We're being much more called to account”

VIDEO: Steve King weighs in on media agency value, in-housing integration and specialisms in this exclusive video from Campaign360 in Singapore.

Steve King, the global CEO of Publicis Media, says media agencies are being "much more called to account about the way we measure the efficacy of brands." In this video, recorded at the Campaign360 conference in Singapore, he discusses how agencies are working harder to prove their value to brand clients.

King isn't losing sleep over in-housing, though, having seen the client trend wax and wane over the years. The agency leader says if anything, more in-housing could be a possible opportunity for his agencies, something global Starcom chief John Sheehy also alluded to in a recent interview with Campaign.

King also weighs-in on how he's looking to China for help to grow ecommerce solutions within his agencies on both the marketplace and enterprise sides.

In addition to his Publicis Media role, King was named chief operating officer of Publicis Groupe last month.
