This is an extension of the global marketing campaign ‘Go Fans’ launched in March. The ‘Visa Match Planner’ Facebook page is available in English, Japanese, Spanish and Portuguese, and it is customised to 32 selected countries.

Apart from listing the personal schedules for the must-watch soccer games, people can organise parties, chat with friends, track scores and standings. Soccer fans can also access exclusive offers for merchandises from the ‘FIFA Official Store’ within the application and on FIFA.com.

“Football fans are undeniably passionate about the FIFA World Cup and the teams they follow and social media provides a unique platform to help them express their views and connect with friends from around the world,” said Antonio Lucio, chief marketing officer of Visa.
