One of Asia's most respected creative figures, Tay Guan Hin, is joining BBDO Singapore as chief creative officer.

In 28 years in APAC adland, Tay spent many years with JWT as regional CCO, and has also served in senior creative roles at Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey and Leo Burnett, working with brands including Shell, Abbot, J&J, Lux and HSBC. For the last two years, he has headed up his own company, TGH Collective. His award shelf holds more than 300 creative awards, and he was the first creative from Southeast Asia to serve as a jury president at Cannes Lions.

"While I enjoyed my journey in TGH Collective, joining one of the most creative networks in the world is not an opportunity to be missed," Tay said in a release. He looks forward to creating innovative solutions that solve clients' business issues effectively through the strength of BBDO Asia's network and by being a member of the agency's Creative Council, he added.

Tay joins a management team that includes Nick Morrell, MD of BBDO Singapore, and Andy Wilson, head of strategy for BBDO Asia.

Jean-Paul Burge, CEO of BBDO Asia, called Tay a "tremendous creative with an impressive and long-standing reputation that is more than well-deserved" who will make a "positive and rapid creative impact" on BBDO's work in Singapore and beyond.
