The agency will work to raise awareness of the brand and strengthen its overall reputation throughout the year, as Scoot aims to expand its market position and attract travelers to its new routes and services.

The airline also wants to create awareness of its distinctive attitude toward customer satisfaction, which it calls "Scootitude". The carrier's first flight is expected to occur by July.

Tarun Deo, managing director, Southeast Asia and India at Fleishman-Hillard, noted that the appointment builds on its reputation as a firm with regional reach and capabilities to support brands’ growth across Asia.

“Scoot is a novel and unconventional carrier that offers a world of possibilities for travelers," Deo said. "We’re excited by this opportunity to make ‘Scootitude’ a household word with smart, value-minded customers.”

Commenting on the appointment, Campbell Wilson, CEO at Scoot, said, “We’re glad to be working with Fleishman-Hillard, clearly an agency that understands our passion for great value and great fun. We believe the team’s passion, creativity and strong regional network will help us share Scootitude with Singapore and the world."
