Co-founder of an open-source cloud platform called OpenStack and committed to "Fanatical Support", Rackspace delivers enterprise-level hosting services to businesses.

The global PR and digital communications agency will support Rackspace as it expands its presence in Hong Kong and across the Asia-Pacific region. The campaign will focus on raising awareness and understanding of Rackspace’s solutions and services among local business decision makers, as well as building the profiles of the company’s executives as thought leaders.

Lewis PR was selected following a competitive pitch conducted by Rackspace in July. Details of the budget are not being disclosed.

Cecilia Lau, senior marketing manager for Rackspace Hosting, said: “We are impressed by Lewis’s proactive, creative approach, coupled with the dedication, professionalism and great teamwork.”

“Rackspace is a great fit for Lewis as we’re already working with a number of Rackspace’s partners and other complementary brands across the region,” said Emma Jenkins, associate director at Lewis PR. “Cloud services is a big market, and that brings us great opportunities to work with companies like Rackspace.”
