MSN launches vending machine game

SYDNEY - Amnesia has created a digital vending machine game for Windows Live Messenger in Australia that allows players and friends of their choosing to win real-life prizes.

MSN launches vending machine game
The game, called Friend Magnet, challenges MSN Messenger users to pick up virtual jars containing prizes by using the game’s magnetic claw. If a player is successful, both they and a friend of their choosing from their MSN contact list win the prize.

To stymie the frequency of prizes awarded, the players will be limited as to how often they can play and the hours in which they can win prizes.
