The new entity, to be called TrapperMPG, will combine assets of both the companies. The two companies will also cease to exist as independent brands.

The operation will employ over 45 full time staff and hopes to provide clients with a fully integrated offer that includes digital media expertise.

Sivanathan Krishnan, founder and CEO of Trapper, will continue as CEO of TrapperMPG. He said: "This marriage comes at a perfect time for Trapper as we are prepared to embark on an aggressive growth path. MPG's strength in strategic process and world-class decision support systems gives our local expertise the razor's edge."

Vishnu Mohan (pictured), the CEO for MPG in Asia Pacific said that this integration gives the merged brand the “winning recipe”. “We had been looking for a partner for some time," he said.
