Effective from the middle of the year, the appointment will see Jenner taking a seat on the worldwide executive committee, while reporting to Stephen Allan, worldwide chairman and CEO. Jenner takes over the role from Fraser Riddell who will now head up MediaCom’s new global division, MediaCom Beyond Borders.

Allan noted that this appointment is an opportunity for Jenner to apply his business-building skills to a larger, worldwide canvas.

Currently based in Singapore, Jenner has been instrumental in growing the network that achieved a growth of 25.5 per cent last year. This growth was further cemented recently through the winning of the US$150 million Fonterra regional pitch against Carat and OMD.

His current position will not be replaced directly, while the network is looking for candidates to fill several positions as division heads.

His remit includes developing new client relationships and expanding existing ones across the world, Jenner told Campaign Asia-Pacific. Among its global clients are Volkswagen, Dell, Shell, Universal Pictures, P&G  and Coca-Cola.

Prior to his regional role in MediaCom, Jenner was MediaCom Australasia CEO in 2008, after joining from MEC in the UK, where he was the managing director. During his tenure, MediaCom Australia was the top ranked RECMA agency and won multiple clients, including Yum Brands, IAG, Foxtel, Danone and EA.
