LiquidThread launches new foodie series to promote Extra gum with Korean celebrities

BEIJING - LiquidThread, a branded entertainment division of Starcom Mediavest Group has launched a new TV series titled 'Extra Gourmet Challenger' to promote the use of Extra sugar-free gum after eating.

The new programme will last for two 25-episode seasons and was launched on 4 April at 10pm on Zhejiang Satellite TV. The series mixes travel, adventure and food and is features Korean celebrities from Girls' Generation and H.O.Ts well as actors Jang Woo Hyuk and Kim Jong Kuk along with Chinese celebrities. 

Each episode will see the celebrities travel through different cities to try and review restaurants while taking part in quizzes and challenges. Promoting the tagline '‘every great meal ends with Extra', each episode will include advice from personalities on the benefits of chewing Extra Gum after eating. 

Silvia Goh, managing director, of LiquidThread China, said: “The programme is the perfect platform of how Extra will be best represented further, and its product benefits are brought to life and expressed through the show’s content and personalities. We believe it will be a success."
