Leo Burnett Hong Kong scoops gold at Clios 2011

GREATER CHINA - 17 Clio awards have been awarded to agencies across the Greater China region with Leo Burnett Hong Kong winning gold for Ikea.

The award ceremony takes place at the American Museum of Natural History in New York tonight.

Claiming the only gold for the Greater China region, Leo Burnett Hong Kong received the honours for its 'Trailer' campaign for Ikea in the Out of home category. The campaign also won silver in the Innovative media category. 

The network went on to win a further five awards, including four bronze and one silver.

Leo Burnett in Hong Kong took home three bronze awards for 'Hidden sound' for Zoo Records, 'Nail' for Evergreen Travel, and 'Organic poo' for Organic Baby Food. 

Leo Burnett in Shanghai won silver for 'Non-stick pans' for Supor and bronze for Yang Ai's 'Dark corner/ Despair whirlpool', taking the network's total up to seven awards.

The Ogilvy network also won seven awards, including three silver and four bronze. Ogilvy Beijing won bronze and silver for Greenpeace and BSH's 'Keep your kitchen fresh', respectively. Ogilvy & Mather Shanghai won two silver awards for Midea's 'Antique/ Safe/ Car' and a further two bronze awards for Garmin's 'Sedan/ Truck/ Bus' campaign. The network's final silver went to its office in Hong Kong for Shangri-La's 'It's in our nature'. 

A further silver was awarded to DDB Shanghai and two bronze awards to SenseTeam in Shenzhen and Y&R Beijing, respectively.
