HONG KONG - Leo Burnett Hong Kong has appointed Anna Chan as its chief digital officer.

Chan joins Leo Burnett today and is tasked with further driving digital integration and growth, particularly in the areas of social media and search.  

Chan (pictured), was previously was the MD, Asia of Reprise Media (under IPG) and was responsible for overseeing the development and effectiveness of search and social media within Mediabrands’ agencies Initiative and UM in Asia. Microsoft, Langham Hotels, Ngong Ping 360, SmarTone Vodafone, and Charles Schwab were just some of the clients that she has served.

Prior to joining IPG, Chan held positions at Yahoo Hong Kong, working with corporate brands in developing pioneering online strategies.

"I believe with Anna's expertise in digital media and search, we can strengthen our company's integrated offering,”  said Lilian Leong, MD of Leo Burnett Hong Kong. “By incorporating a digital media expert into our management team, we can drive better benchmarks on campaign ROI and, in return, enhance campaign effectiveness and the value of integration to our clients."

Reported last September, Johan Wong, former chief digital officer for Leo Burnett/Arc Hong Kong joined JWT Shanghai as director of digital strategy for JWT Interactive.
