Hill+Knowlton named official PR for Korea's Incheon Asian Games

SEOUL - The Incheon Asian Games Organising Committee (IAGOC) has appointed Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) as official global PR agency for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games.

The 17th Asian Games are to be held in Incheon, South Korea from 19 September to 14 October, 2014 under the slogan 'Diversity Shines Here'. The event is patronised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and the event will be hosted by the IAGOC. 

To promote the games, H+K has developed an integrated online and offline campaign along the theme 'Cheer, Asia', which combines athlethics and contemporary Korean Pop culture. Throughout 2013, influencers in the sports, culture and tourism industries as well as the media from 19 countries will join road shows that will appear in six major cities across Asia: Guangzhou, Singapore, Tokyo, New Delhi, Dubai and Almaty.

Young-soo Kim, president of IAGOC said, “With the appointment of H+K Strategies as our official global PR agency, the Pan-Asia campaign to promote the Incheon Asian Games will have great impact and will inspire people from everywhere in Asia to join in our festivities.”
