Hasbro Singapore appoints SPRG as AOR

SINGAPORE - Hasbro Singapore has selected Strategic Public Relations Group (SPRG) Singapore as its PR agency-of-record.

SPRG will provide strategic communications counsel, handle media relations and oversee publicity initiatives for Hasbro in Singapore under a retainer contract until the end of the year.

Hasbro Singapore will work with SPRG for the launch of two toys in mid-September, an updated version of Furby and a NERF Elite gun.

Hasbro, which bills itself as a "branded play entertainment company" provides well-known brands such as Transformers, My Little Pony, Battleship and Monopoly.

The appointment is an extension of a successful working relationship between Hasbro Singapore and SPRG on two previous occasions: the Resorts World Sentosa Singapore Transformers Cybertron Convention earlier this year and the launch and promotion of the world’s first two-sided Monopoly board game in June 2012.

“Through these two projects, SPRG showed a deep understanding of our business and communication objectives and consistently came up with creative approaches to achieve them,” said Joy Koh, marketing manager of Hasbro Singapore.
