Grey appoints Hari Krishnan to head Grey Mumbai

MUMBAI - Hari Krishnan (pictured), the former vice-president at Star TV, has been appointed as VP and branch head of Grey Mumbai.

Krishnan previously worked with Grey in 2007 when he joined to head Grey Bangalore. He is credited with building the branch, retaining and consolidating clients and creating an efficient team. His tenure saw the agency consolidating reputed businesses like Britannia, 3M and ITC.

Jishnu Sen, COO, Grey India says it feels great when senior people come back. "I’m pleased to welcome Hari back to Grey. He returns as head of the Mumbai office at an exciting time and will be an integral part of my core team. It is the ultimate vindication of what we are doing, that our path of change is truly working.”

On his return, Krishnan said: “I had left Grey to explore an opportunity outside advertising.  I’ve been missing Grey because it’s an agency that allows independent thought and encourages new ideas.”

Krishnan previously spent a significant part of his career with Lowe Lintas and has also had stints with JWT and RK Swamy/ BBDO.
