Fujitsu Asia appoints Waggener Edstrom for regional public relations

SINGAPORE - Fujitsu Asia has appointed Waggener Edstrom Worldwide (WE) as its public relations agency-of-record for the ASEAN region.

WE commences work immediately and will take on corporate public relations services for Fujitsu Asia with a focus on the technology firm’s systems platforms and services businesses.

WE will be responsible for providing strategic counsel to Fujitsu Asia for the ASEAN region and driving brand awareness.

In addition, WE will also take on regional management of Fujitsu's local PR agencies in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Brian Fan, vice president, regional marketing, Fujitsu Asia, said in a statement, “With Waggener Edstrom’s strong background in the enterprise technology space, we’re confident that it will effectively communicate Fujitsu Asia’s increasing commitment in providing business transforming IT-based solutions in the ASEAN region.”

“The regional coordination of our local agencies by Waggener Edstrom will streamline our communication and reporting processes, allowing us to connect better and form stronger relationships with key stakeholders.”
