BBDO Proximity Greater China announces three senior promotions

GREATER CHINA - BBDO Proximity Greater China has announced three senior internal promotions, including Hans Lopez-Vito to executive planning director for Greater China, Rick Doerr to regional business development director and MD of BBDO Hong Kong, and JC Catibog to MD of BBDO Guangzhou.

Lopez-Vito, who joined the agency in 2008, will now expand his role from executive strategic planning director for China to oversee Greater China.

Rick Doerr has taken on the role as regional business development director, in addition to his current role as managing director of BBDO Hong Kong. He will assist in developing important regional accounts, including Wrigley, Mars and Hyatt.

JC Catibog, most recently GM of BBDO Guangzhou, has also been promoted to managing director of the office.

Carol Potter said, "The elevation of Hans, Rick and JC completes a very powerful line up in Greater China as a whole. All promotions are in recognition of the conscious efforts these people have made to contribute to BBDO's success. We look forward to 2011 with relish."
