Bates141 names China creative head

BEIJING - Bates141 has named Kenny Choo (pictured) its national creative head in China.

Choo, a former creative partner at Ogilvy Shanghai, is charged with managing the agency’s creative teams in its Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu offices, working closely with China CEO Arthur Yu.

He began his career in Singapore at agencies including TBWA, Batey and Y&R before moving to China, where he was named creative director at Leo Burnett in 2004.

Most recently at Ogilvy, Choo worked with brands including Dove, KFC, Ponds, Reebok and Tsingtao Beer.
