Vroooom: Caltex fires up brand campaign in Australia

AUSTRALIA - Caltex has started the engine on what it calls its biggest brand-focused work in more than a decade, with an ad portraying how the company's fuel products keep a wide range of vehicles moving.

The 'With you all the way' campaign by Leo Burnett Sydney "honours the many ways Australia’s leading fuel supplier keeps the country—and the economy—on the go", according to the agency.

Even opponents of fossil fuels might find their heart rate elevating as the 30-second ad upshifts to a crescendo of quick cuts and effective sound layering.

The TVC launched nationally yesterday, with support from digital and outdoor (below).

Edward Goff, the company's head of brand and product marketing, said Caltex Australia's "reliable supply forms the backbone of the Australian economy", powering machines that keep the country "connected, fed, healthy and, ultimately, prosperous".

Added Andy DiLallo, chief creative officer of Leo Burnett Sydney, "The layered approach to the creative reinforces just how the Caltex brand helps take more Australians to more places than any other every day.”
