Nissan Pathfinder keeps a seat for the underdog

MELBOURNE – Nissan Australia has launched a campaign, created by Whybin\TBWA Melbourne, for the relaunch of its flagship family SUV, Nissan Pathfinder, in Australia.

In stark contrast to the other TVC released by the same brand and agency this week, the 60-second spot plays on family values. Running across free-to-air, pay and various digital formats, the ad tells the story of a young boy who is the 'underdog' in a large family, yet finds his happy place in the family car, a Nissan Pathfinder.

Peter Clissold, Nissan Australia's executive general manager of marketing, called the heart-warming spot a wonderful association for the brand's flagship model.
