LG | Lollipop Love Story | Thailand

LG has launched a digital campaign for its candy coloured 'Lollipop' mobile line.

LG has signed popular pop bands to generate buzz for its new 'Lollipop' line of mobile phones among the teenage market in Korea. The Lollipop model has a LED mobile cover, which can be pre-set with animated lighting.

Lollipop is launching progressively across Asia, most recently in China. Thailand is getting its share with a campaign developed by digital agency MRM Worldwide titled 'Lollipop Love Story’ via www.lge.com/th/lollipop/.

Running from today until April, the website will release five webisodes in addition to offering wallpapers, msn icons, music downloads and behind-the-scenes videos. The campaign is also supported by above-the-line and trailer placements on the sky train and cable television.

“Love, friendship and communication are very important to teens,” explains the creative team at MRM. LG has been less digitally focused in Thailand as an advertising medium. “The LG Lollipop Love story is a good example of not just selling the product function but how its unique selling proposition can create happiness in the target’s life,” the team added.

This campaign marks the LG Lollipop's debute in the Thai market.
