Have yourself a cherry little Christmas

THE WORK: 'Where the locals matter' for IGA by The Core Agency.

A likable spokesperson (Aussie actor Shane Jacobson), simple storylines and a focus on old-fashioned values like relationships make these Christmas-themed spots for IGA, by The Core Agency, quite charming. Ad Nut especially likes that they don't attempt to over-emotionalise the holiday.

The spot above highlights the grocery chain's connections to local growers, while another speaks to its selection of international products:

The two Christmas spots flow naturally as part of a campaign that launched eight weeks ago. This earlier spot is probably Ad Nut's favourite, because Ad Nut can relate to being overcome with emotion when it comes to cheese.
