ZTE looks to DDB to raise profile
According to Richard Thomas, DDB Hong Kong’s president and chief executive, the agency will work to build ZTE’s brand and raise penetration of its products and services. DDB will be responsible for the firm’s entire communications strategy, comprising brand character development, advertising, activation and trade communications.

He noted that despite offering “many innovative products”, ZTE was “relatively unknown outside of its industry”.

Based in Shenzhen, ZTE operates predominantly as a business-to-business provider, with around 500 partnerships in 140 markets.
