The new offices are located in the Tianhe district, at the centre of Guangzhou’s central business district.

Heading the new operations will be K2 Chung Tai Kung, previously managing director of Agenda Beijing. He will relocate to Guangzhou to take on his new role.

Clement Yip, managing director of Wunderman and Agenda China, stressed that it was important for the agency to have a presence in Southern China, in order to fortify relationships with clients and expand further as clients' investments in the digital space continues to grow rapidly.

“Our clients are thrilled with our commitment to expand to Guangzhou, one of the first tier cities in China trailing after Beijing and Shanghai. This is a strategic initiative to provide further value to our global and local clients in China,” added K2 Chung Tai Kung.

Wunderman and Agenda's client portfolio in China includes Colgate, Darlie and Wrigley.

“China is a key market and strategic focus for us. We are pleased to extend our footprint to Guangzhou to support our clients and align with our aggressive growth across Asia-Pacific,” said Stephane Faggianelli, president of Wunderman Asia-Pacific.
