Wei Chuan calls creative pitch for all its products in Taiwan

TAIPEI - Wei Chuan, a major Taiwan food and beverage manfacturer which Master Kong acquired over a decade ago, has call a creative pitch, which Saatchi & Saatchi together with its sister agency Leo Burnett; McCann Worldgroup, Denstu and JWT have been invited.

The pitch orientation is taking place early next week.

Saatchi and Saatchi Taiwan has been working on the Wei Chuan’s creative account for over four years. “Kevin Yang (楊榮柏), ex-ECD of Saatchi & Saatchi Taiwan, who has just moved to join McCann Worldgroup Taiwan as co-ECD, has a very close relationship with the client,  I think this is a measure to transfer its account from Saatchi to McCann,” an undisclosed industry source said.

Wei Chuan has four main products Daily C  (每日C), milk product (林鳳營高品質鮮乳), a ready-to-drink coffee (貝納頌咖啡), and instant noodles (康師傅速食麵).

Master Kong has acquired the brand in 1998.
