Procter joined Y&R Singapore in December 2009 from George Patterson Y&R's Sydney office, where he was executive creative director. The agency says he took the decision to leave Y&R Singapore, citing personal reasons.

Regional chief creative officer Marcus Rebeschini takes on the additional role of creative chairman of Singapore, partnering with Asia president and Singapore chairman Matthew Godfrey, continuing the creative leadership already established across the region.

Toh Han Ming is promoted to creative director at Y&R Singapore. Highly awarded and widely respected, Toh has been with Y&R for 11 years, most recently as associate creative director chiefly working on the Republic of Singapore Navy, Bank of Singapore and as the creative lead on new business.  He will work side by side with Rebeschini, overseeing all creative work for the agency as well as managing the creative team.

Commenting on Toh’s promotion, Rebeschini said, “I like to work with talented yet humble people and Han Ming as many know is highly regarded as such a person. He has constantly performed to a high standard, on any creative challenge given, so I couldn't think of a worthier person for the role."

In account servicing, Sangram Sengupta is leaving the agency at the end of August to pursue other opportunities. The agency has already taken steps to strengthen client services by including senior account director Pauline See on key accounts.

In finance, Lie Sie Zin takes over as financial director, assuming responsibilities from Mark Davis, and effective from mid-August.

Commenting on the restructure, Matthew Godfrey, Asia president and Singapore chairman said, “This restructure is designed to strengthen our operational structure, maximize our creative capabilities and further develop our service to clients.  I would like to extend my thanks to those individuals leaving us for their hard work and commitment during their time with Y&R and congratulate those who have been promoted as a result of their drive and dedication to making the agency successful.”

Reported in mid-April, Y&R Singapore saw the departure of creative director Mark Fong after almost six years with the company. A few weeks later in mid May, group CEO network hub at Y&R Tanuj Philip resigned after 14 years with the company.
