Sennheiser awards regional social-media AOR

Sennheiser has named Red2 Digital as social media agency of record for 12 Southeast and South Asia markets, following a pitch against undisclosed opponents.

The pitch was called in early April and concluded by the end of April in Singapore. The remit covers all of the brand's product lines, including both consumer and professional audio equipment.

The agency's Vietnam office will lead the account, providing social-media management, social-media advertising and content creation while employing the social channels most appropriate according to market preferences, CEO Luke Janich told Campaign Asia-Pacific.

The markets included are: Singapore, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Brunei, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Laos, according to the agency.

“As consumers spend an increasing amount of their day on social digital platforms, digital marketing is an essential part of our overall strategy," Alex Lim, head of marketing at Sennheiser Asia, said in a release. "We aim to digitize our business across the region and be more in-tune with our audiences, which is why we are excited to be working with an equally ambitious agency.”

Janich added that that agency is excited to work with "a global brand that has such a combination of innovation and ambition" and play a part in the brand's "digital transformation”.
