BEIJING - Ruder Finn is tipped to win the PR pitch for IT giant Founder in China. An undisclosed industry source confirmed the news.

Founder called a competitive PR pitch earlier this year. A source close to the client revealed that Ruder Finn had won the account, but is still discussing the contract details.

Reported in Feburary, UM retained the media planning and buying business for Founder Group’s IT products and services, following an annual agency review.

Founder Group was established in China in 1986 as a business extension of the prestigious Peking University, which remains a close partner. The Group is diversifying beyond its core IT activities, into healthcare and other industries.
