The independent agency will take on digital, experiential, promotional and direct marketing duties for the Austrian energy drink brand.

Darryl Lim, marketing manager at Red Bull Singapore, said: “Iris clearly showed that it understands the Red Bull brand and understands how to connect with our audience. They’ve demonstrated a strategic approach to the unconventional, coming up with outstanding creative ideas to engage Singaporeans and always with a view to converting this engagement into sales.”

Craig Mapleston, managing director of Iris Singapore, added: “Red Bull and we share a similar view on the world and to marketing. A brand as big as Red Bull needs great ideas to build its brand culture.”

In October, Iris named Josh Thomson as its regional CEO for Asia-Pacific.
