Red Bridge will assist CQAC with its international positioning and brand launch strategy. CQAC is a joint venture between Chery Automobile, China’s largest independent car manufacturer, and Israeli Corp.

In addition, the agency has been tasked to launch The Carat Club, an exclusive diamond retailer specialising in rare stones which opened on 29 March in Shanghai.

Red Bridge was established in mid 2009 by its managing director Penny Burgess (pictured), formerly general manager of Ketchum Shanghai following her arrival in China during 2005. She was subsequently joined by Shanghaiese native Nicky Wang, following a stint at Grayling Singapore, to become a partner in the seven-strong team.

Burgess said, “We are very excited by these latest competitive wins as they cement our position in the market as a boutique agency that is capable of providing the strategic partnership and international expertise it’s assumed only the larger, networked agencies can provide.”

Since its launch, Red Bridge has worked with Hotel Indigo Shanghai on the Bund, a boutique brand under InterContinental Hotel Group; Turkish Airlines and Michelin-starred Pourcel Brothers’ latest French fine dining restaurant Maison Pourcel in Shanghai.
