Ip (pictured) joined ZenithOptimedia in 2000 and set up the Optimedia Beijing office in 2002.

Prior to ZenithOptimedia, he also worked at DDB Shanghai and OMD Shanghai in the 90s.

Ip intends to move back to Hong Kong for a career break before deciding on his next move.

His departure follows other recent senior management changes at ZenithOptimedia.

Reported in January, ZenithOptimedia appointed Ada Wong as MD for Southern China, after the departure of Steffanine Lee, ex GM of ZenithOptimedia Guangzhou.

Late last year, Gary Sin succeeded Alan Yau as the new MD of ZenithOptimedia Shanghai, as Yau moved to join Moden Media Group.
