Chow was recently business director at OMD, having been spent a decade at the agency. A 20-year media industry veteran, Chow resigned from her post at MediaCom Guangzhou after a period of just eight months.

The GM role at OMD Hong Kong has been vacant since Roid Sin was promoted from the GM to CEO of the agency last March. Chow will be a part of the OMD management team and work closely with Sin in developing new business opportunities, managing existing clients and mentoring younger media planners to produce award winning works.

During her previous stint at OMD, Chow worked on a number of regional accounts such as Visa, The Venetian Macau, McDonald’s and ExxonMobil and on a wide spectrum of local accounts including the MTR.

“I prefer the working mode and lifestyle in Hong Kong," said Chow, “It feels great to be a part of OMD again. The feeling of familiarity is reassuring and I am looking forward to working with the whole team.”

Sin added that as an "ace strategic planner", Chow would be a valuable asset to the agency.
