MPG China has been tasked with handling the offline media planning and buying for the Nature's Bounty brand including Disney-licensed Children Supplement in China.
Hunter Xia, managing director for Nature’s Bounty China said the company was "impressed by MPG's knowledge of the health supplement category and insights they found on our potential target.”
Last week, Lowe Beijing landed a two-year retainer contract with the Nature’s Bounty’s creative account.
Nature's Bounty is one of the biggest health supplement brands in the US, but it only entered the China market a few years ago. It has largely focused on distribution through high-end pharmacies, supermarkets and department stores in tier-one cities.
The client is now rolling out an aggressive three-year plan to boost the branding. It is expanding throughout China to compete with global players including Amway, Nu Life and Herbalife - which have already built strong market and advertising presences.
