Tilos will report to Malu Vasallo, managing director of MEC.

“MEC's strategic approach, its focus on digital and its access to analytics and insight is what enticed me to move onto the media agency side of the industry,” said Tilos.

Tilos comes from a background of strategic planning and financial consultancy. His twenty years of experience also brings in web analytics, SEO marketing, project development and ROI for advertisers. Clients he has managed include Boehringer Ingelheim, Sumitomo, Siemens, Union bank of Switzerland and Phoenix Petroleum.

Vasallo commented, “The appointment of Norman is a significant move for MEC, underlining our commitment to offer a joined-up strategic product to our clients.”

Reported earlier this year, MEC Philippines has been appointed by Wyeth and Pfizer.
