Maxus China appoints Guangzhou managing director

SHANGHAI - Maxus China has appointed Stephanie Li as managing director of its Guangzhou office, effective immediately.

Li will be responsible for the operational and strategic growth of the Guangzhou office, and reports to Maxus China president Annie Hsiao and vice-president Amber Pu.

"We will continue to invest in our business in China with strategic appointments and this key appointment is one of them. Stephanie's outstanding proven record of strong leadership, successful business development and acumen will bring Maxus Guangzhou to the next level of its development. I am looking forward to a more prosperous year for Maxus China in 2011," said Hsiao.

Li started her career in 1995 at DDB Needham Guangzhou and has worked at DDB Needham Shanghai, Starcom Guangzhou, ZenithOptimedia Beijing and Guangzhou.

She has managed the accounts of many well known brands in China including Chang'an Ford, Dongfeng Peugeot, Toyota, Lexus, Heineken, Carlsberg and local clients such as Mengniu, China Mobile, TCL and Wanglaoji.
