L'Oreal pitches Japan media
Agencies competing for the business are believed to include domestic giants ADK and Hakuhodo, along with Fallon and the incumbent. Sources in the market have indicated that the review comprises all brands under the Nihon L’Oréal umbrella. While the exact value has not been confirmed, observers have described the account as “sizeable”.

Universal McCann declined to comment on the developments. A roster partner in other Asian markets, the agency has held the account in Japan for more than 10 years.

L’Oréal is the world’s largest cosmetics and beauty products company. Its Japan portfolio includes L’Oréal Paris, Biotherm, Lancôme, Maybelline, Kerastase, Helena Rubinstein, and Shu Uemura, among others.
