DDB China told Campaign Asia-Pacific that Hu (pictured) worked on its Shanghai Volkswagen account as business director for close to two years. A spokesperson said the agency has already found Hu's replacement, who will be on board soon.

Prior to DDB, Hu, a Shanghai native and graduate of Shanghai University, also served at Young & Rubicam Shanghai and EuroRSCG Shanghai. He has substantial experience managing teams charged with delivering integrated campaigns, spanning above-the-line, digital and CRM executions, for companies like Shanghai Volkswagen, LG Electronics, Dell and GAP.

Eric Lee, MD of JWT Shanghai, said in a statement that the agency has invested heavily in digital capabilities over the last few years and has brought Hu on board to add to this momentum.

JWT Shanghai clients have included Sofy, HSBC, Listerine, Starbucks and Bayer.
