Publicis Groupe today announced that former Isobar Asia-Pacific CEO Jane Lin-Baden has joined the network as APAC managing partner.

Lin-Baden stepped away from Isobar in June, after a decade at the agency, to "pursue new perspectives". In her new role at Publicis, she will oversee global clients and implement new initiatives regarding talent, as well as numerous products and capabilities, including Digitas, Performics and Publicis Commerce.

Based in Shanghai, Lin-Baden will seek to drive greater integration across Publicis Groupe in the region. She will report to Loris Nold, Publicis Groupe CEO for APAC & MEA, who said Lin-Baden’s arrival was "terrific news".

“She brings years of experience with large P&L responsibilities as well as strategic leadership in the region,” he said. “Jane is progressive, highly proven with a fantastic track record, and I am really excited at the prospect of partnering with her.”

Lin-Baden said she was swayed by Publicis’ “ambitious vision, pragmatic approach and authentic focus on clients and people”.

"At this pivotal time for our industry, and as Asia Pacific emerges as a global innovation hub, I am excited and humbled to partner with Loris and the team to create momentum from change,” she added.

Lin-Baden joined Isobar in 2008 and was appointed China CEO in 2013 before becoming APAC CEO in June 2016, overseeing 12 markets. She has more than 20 years of industry experience overall.
