Iris Singapore appoints Emma Norris to board of directors

SINGAPORE – Iris has appointed Emma Norris as board director Singapore. She was formerly board director at Iris Sydney.

Norris became board director Iris Sydney back in May 2009. She was tasked with leading the Sony Ericsson account for Australia and New Zealand, which was expanded to include through-the-line duties including experiential, social media and digital. 

In Singapore, Norris reports to managing director Craig Mapleston, overseeing regional client relationships for Adidas, Sony Ericsson and Meritus, with other client responsibilities for Shell and Dell.

She will look at client development plans and account service team structures across the agency and bring a greater culture of collaboration across the different departments and disciplines within Iris. This extends to connecting  with the agency's other offices for Sony Ericsson in Australia, India and Shanghai.

She joined Iris from The Marketing Store where she was business unit director, in her previous roles, Norris fulfilled new business development demands for clients such as Nestlé and McDonald’s.

Norris is credited with having achieved 40 per cent growth in business unit income after joining The Marketing Store in January 2007 and was awarded Employee of the Year in 2007. Between July and October 2006, She was international marketing manager at the Hallmark Channel and prior to this, account director at Joshua since February 2005.
