The appointment follows a closed-door pitch, called last quarter, involving several undisclosed agencies. TSLA takes up through-the-line creative duties for content creation and experiential, social and digital marketing.

Greg Baker, managing director at IG, noted that TSLA showed an in-depth understanding of the business and target market.

IG Markets Singapore is part of IG Group, specialising in financial derivatives and is a leading dealer in foreign exchange margin trading. Starcom is the media agency for the firm, overseeing its online and offline media planning and buying.

Hanyi Lee, chief creative officer at TSLA, said that the initial work will roll out in the next quarter.

“We especially enjoy briefs, clients and assignments that demand from us more engaged thinking and creativity,” she said. “It is this healthy pressure that always leads to the creation of truly breakthrough work.”
